On the advice of Kwame (from the podcast), we spent 3 nights in Kumasi. We found a great guide and ended up working with him both days were were there (shoutout to @Black_Root_Tours_Ghana). Over the course of two days, we had great food and saw a wide range of spots related to the history and culture of the Ashanti. After the coastal cities, Kumasi was a VERY welcome change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Accra.
The gallery contains some photos from the stops we made along the way. This was a stop I’m VERY glad we made on the trip. It added to our POV on Ghana because it had a different vibe and its own rich history.
