Ancient Egypt: 4 other stops!

When you do some many stops in a country with some many sites, it’s hard to organize all the photos.  Inside here, the temple of Abu Simbel is the one that probably left me the most speechless.  The carved this massive temple out of stone in a mountain.  That’s unfathomable on its own.  However, with the flooding caused by the Aswan Dam, they needed to cut the whole mountain and literally move this whole site to higher ground.  I included some people in the photos so you get a sense of how major that way.  We were speechless multiple times as we toured the places in this gallery..

This gallery contains photos from the ancient sites in Cairo, Alexandria, Aswan, and Abu Simbel.  I had to split the archaeological sites into three galleries because there was just too many photo to digest in one gallery.

Be sure to visit KBevPhoto.com to see the other galleries from Egypt  (under world travel -> Africa).
