We finally got some “takers” on our offer to join us along the journey. Our big brother and sister from CHI joined us for 5 days in Bangkok as the final stop on our Asia trip. It was blazing hot every day, but we persevered! I’m used to the “feels like” temperature being LOWER than the actual. In Bangkok, it was consistently felt 10 degrees hotter.
After some great food tours in Vietnam, we decided to make another food tour the starting point in Bangkok. It was less adventurous, but included some street art – perfect for us both! We enjoyed Muay Thai, night markets, and some of the main sights. Of course, Thailand had to include some massages too.
One big highlight was reserving the board room at the hotel for a formal “Chip Tasting” that we did with 10 different flavors of Lays. There are some VERY interesting flavors over there – Oakley wasn’t lying when we talked on the podcast!
