Jeju Island was a stop we added to the Korea trip because of how it is frequently shown in K-dramas. We really had no plan or idea of what to expect, so we just went. We booked a full day tour so we could explore the Central and Western sights on the island. We didn’t make it East and didn’t have another day to explore.
First of all, this was a really nice visit. It was chilly (50F) outside (and raining some of the day), but I can 100% see why this is a favorite place for people to visit. If you want to get outside of the massiveness or Seoul, Jeju is the right spot. It was a nice way to end the trip to Korea before heading to Cambodia.
