Going back to LON was an ironic way to end the trip. After touring sites all over the world, we saw a lot of empty spots because the things that belonged there were at the British Museum. As a result, that was literally the ONLY spot we wanted to visit in London this time around.
In one exhibit, they even had a photo of the foreign delegation that came to ask for their statue back. It was from several years ago, and now part of the exhibit because the museum never give it back! But they now include the photos of the ask? What kind of foolishness is that?!
The museum really hit different this time. I had seen everything in there before, but knowing that so much of the stuff was stolen and they’ve been asked to give it back was surreal.
We spent the bulk of the time reconnecting with our “family” that lives in London. So I didn’t take too many photos Anyway, here are a handful from London and some images from the museum.
