We wrap up our South America trip in Uruguay. We’re hoping to enjoy Carnival while we’re there. It officially starts on Feb 12, but we’ll see if we can find some of the early festivities, since it was so special to Santiago. One of the best parts of this project is the opportunity to connect and reconnect with people that I’ve met along my journey in life.
Santiago is one of those people that I didn’t know well, but didn’t hesitate to say “yes” when I asked him to participate. The way we met is totally random in a place that made no sense. Of course, we had to work through the language barrier (his English is better than my Spanish). Huge thank you to Coki for participating and translating!
Thanks for checking out this episode.
Photos: Santiago & Coki, PLUS a few pics of the day I met Santiago. You’ll have to listen to hear the story of how that happened.
