We took almost a full week in Da Nang because I wanted to spend 3 days at Radikal Forze Jam (that post is here). We had some time before and after the jam to explore the area too. Da Nang was very laid back and had a bit of a Miami Beach vibe.
We started by walking to a vegan spot near the hotel and enjoying a great meal from a super friendly lady. During the jam we ordered Grab (thin: Uber Eats) from a vegan spot and ordered from there for dinner 2 of the next 3 days too!
Marble Mountain was a short walk from the hotel and full of cool sites and a TON of history. Monkey Mountain had, well, monkeys – we even got some quality time with the Red-shanked douc. They are supposed to be prepare rare to see, but we got it in.
Da Nang was a really cool place and I am glad we took the time to chill out for a bit and relax while we were there. I am hoping to go back that Jam in the future, and wouldn’t mind exploring the area a bit more.
We did spend an afternoon/ evening going o Hoi An. It’s worth visiting at night but was totally overrun by tourists and pushier vendors than we had seen in the region. I’m glad we went, but I’d only go back in the morning and skip the night stuff (now that I’ve seen it).
Anyway, this was another great stop in Vietnam.
