Ho Chi Minh City

I’ve wanted to go to Vietnam for a long time and wasn’t sure where to start.  In the end, I looked at a map and all the places I wanted to go and decided to start “at the bottom part” in Ho Chi Minh City.

It was a really great introduction to the country with a hotel that was in walking distance (for us) of a lot of sites.  We opened with an AWESOME vegan food tour that had us tasting all kinds of street food for a few hours.  That was the day the lady decided Vietnamese food was her favorite.  We also went to the war remnants museum which was a tough day of learning what the US did during “The American War” (as they call it).  Suffice to say, we did some really bad, inexcusable things over there.  The national history museum was also a very informative stop for us.

The gallery contains some of my favorite photos from this part of the trip.
